I ate a piece of french toast today (!)
T oday I ate a small, triangular piece of cut french toast. I did not find this to be the least bit surprising, as it was in fact the very meal that had been presented for eating at lunchtime. After I ate this first piece, I proceeded to swallow the rest of the slice of french toast.

Ya know, I always wondered what that whole "eating" thing was all about.
You're really showing some progress! Good boy!
next i intend to go for the loaf. i think i can do it. i just have to believe in myself.
Oh my heavens, have you been reading Marcel Proust's "In Search of Lost Time"? Next thing you know, you'll be obsessing about madeleines (French tea cakes).
I have a confession to make: In all my years as a French major, that's the only book I was ever assigned that I never finished--I was so bored that I couldn't force myself to read past roughly the 23rd page. If you're that bored, maybe you'd better go back to letting your campers torment you, Mr. Junior Counselor. :)
Should we be proud of you or something? Where I come from people eat more than one piece of french toast at a time. (No, I'm not saying which of the places I come from.)
oh yeah, tzipster? Well i didn't mrntion that after the first slice, I had TWO more. be proud. OR- hurt my feelings. really, its up to you.
